Great work gentlemen! You are doing the world a favor by doing this.

  • I like it! The new rear fenders in particular are much better — more taut feeling. The hard chines tie it all together more cohesively.

Are you going to go with a similar color paint as it was, or something closer to the original rendering?

Love the new look. Are you going to go into kit production with this or is this just for improvement to your personal vehicle? Either way its looking good.

    Thanks, Michael!

Kit production for Seven wouldn’t be cost effective. We’re working on refining this prototype in order to learn the best way to create a new prototype. Also, because this car is driven in real world situations, we want to be able to replace body panels if they’re damaged.

I’m glad Reg is able to help with this very cool project. Obviously, you all have a passion, and it’s evident in Seven… Best of luck to all of you…

  • I don’t know if you have been keeping up with the World Solar Challenge but there was a new class added in 2013 with different rules. The Cruiser Class promotes practical solar vehicles similar to your design. However they are much more efficient. About 1200e. However they are under 1000 pounds with a 15kw battery pack 1.5 kw solar panel. Seating for 4 and a trunk. They sort of look like a squished VW van with a tail. http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1099022_new-stella-solar-electric-car-produces-more-energy-than-it-uses With your technology you might be able to integrate some of Stella’s attributes into your designs.
